Training session – Mondays (20:30-21:30)

Technique session – Wednesdays (19:00-20:00)

 

training session – monday

This session caters for a range of abilities but is intended as a physical workout.

Ideal as a progression from Wednesday’s technique session, or for more advanced swimmers, wanting to extend and develop fitness.

Groups may cover between 1500m-3000m during the session, depending on current ability level.

The focus is on front-crawl, but we will also incorporate other strokes, drills and practices to enhance and improve performance.

If you have your own kickboard, pull-buoy or hand paddles, please bring them along.

technique session – wednesday

This session is aimed at people who can already swim but who are looking for advice and input to improve swimming technique. Designed to help new starters, as well as current competitors who may be struggling with some aspect of their strokes.

The aim is to help participants to swim more confidently, efficiently and effectively, thus providing the basis to progress your swimming in whatever direction you please; whether for fitness, pleasure, competition or another discipline.

We focus on the basics of Front-crawl, whilst introducing and developing the other strokes and aquatic skills.

Please note this is not a learn to swim class and participants should be able to swim 200m confidently and be aware that the class duration is 1 hour. If in doubt, by all means, give us a call.
